Nokia's Point & Find service, while still in beta testing format, is now underway and usable. Described as a 'mobile discovery platform' by the company, the new service allows you to create a media experience and then share it with other people while managing it. There is a subscription fee to create a 'world', however.
As an example of the capabilities of the service, the Point & Find development team described how 'the Camden Crawl music festival in London created its world. During the festival, visitors could point at posters, flyers and venues with their phones to connect to Camden Crawl content and promos. Other branded worlds are in preparation and we hope you will try to create a world of yours'.
You can try the service yourself by logging on here. To familiarise yourself with the facility you can also read a quick start guide here.
