After the recent release news of the i8000 Omnia 2, reports say that the recently discussed Samsung Louvre B7610 is, in fact, the Samsung Omnia Pro. A series of official pictures have been released plus a live picture which appears to confirm that assertion. No official confirmation was forthcoming, however.
The new handset - whatever it is - features a wide, 3.5 inch AMOLED touchscreen display with 480 x 800 pixels and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard running on a 800-Mhz CPU. Observers say that the phone will feature two user interfaces: a Pro version and a Media version which includes a dedicated key to switch between them, according to the Connect-UTB website.
Other features will include a built in camera running a 5-megapixels with autofocus and a LED flash, fast data transfers via HSDPA, GPS for location finding, a TV out port, FM radio for entertainment plus a 3.5mm headset port, microUSB, WiFi with DLNA support plus Divx / WMV / H.264 acceleration, Bluetooth and 1GB of internal memory.
No release dates or prices have been announced.
