Talking to the Mobinaute website, the CEO of HTC for France and Benelux, Frédéric Tassy, has been liberally sprinkling his views hither and thither and, despite the interview being focused on the company's Android activities, Tassy was adamant about the importance of the Windows Mobile operating system, stating that, "We will always have more flagship products on Windows Mobile."
To emphasise the point he then proceeded to reveal that the HTC Touch HD, which utilises the Windows Mobile package, is the company's best-selling mobile phone in Europe - and that includes comparisons with the HTC designed, Android powered, G1 and Magic handsets, according to the WMPoweruser website.
Tassy was also dismissive of the Apple iPhone, questioning its longevity, "I think at the end of the year, the iPhone will become just another product. We have been in discussion for many months with mobile operators, I can assure you they want something else now."
