T-Mobile Bigfoot from Samsung, not Motorola

Despite our previous reports branding the forthcoming, Android powered, T-Mobile Bigfoot as a product from the factories of Motorola, the new Android phone will, in fact, be sourced via Samsung, to accompany T-Mobile's G1.

In addition, despite the rather good quality picture previously viewed of the new handset, little was seen of the included QWERTY keyboard. Now we can see the sliding feature in all its glory. This particular image also looks rather different from the original, including a black and yellow livery and a modified design.

According to the BGR website, the handset will also now include a 3in AMOLED screen instead of the previously reported TFT model. Other details will include a 3-megapixel camera, GPS for location finding, WiFi for wireless Internet connections and a HSDPA fast data transfer facility.

A price has yet to be decided but expect a Summer release.
