We're still waiting for the Gemini but the much rumoured Blackberry Niagara has broken cover and undergone a name change although the official model number has remained the same. Now known as the Tour 9630, the new handset has also been the subject of a leaked specifications document.
Measuring 112 x 62 x 14.2 mm and weighing in at 130gm, the new Tour supports Quad band as well as high speed data networks and includes a backlit QWERTY keyboard that sits underneath a HVGA screen packing in 480 x 360 pixels. A built in camera supporting 3.2-megapixels and autofocus with a flash sits alongside GPS, Bluetooth 2.0 for short range wireless connections and a 3.5mm headset port and a USB socket, according to the Mobile Syrup website.
The internal memory of just 256MB can be upgraded by a built in microSD port located under the battery cover which is a 1400 mAh removable/rechargeable cryptographic lithium cell.
