Samsung is currently working on a new Symbian S60 mobile phone. Spotted by the Czech website, iDNES, the new design is aimed at the mid-range bracket and will arrive in a candybar chassis. Resembling the i7110, according to the Ubergizmo website, the new design adds to the 'B' range of phones, such as the B7300 and B7610 and will be known as the B5100.
Apparently, the B5100 will features a good quality QVGA display, HSDPA connectivity for high-speed data transfers, Wi-Fi for wireless Internet connections over large distances, GPS for location finding, Bluetooth for short range wireless connections and USB 2.0 for connections to accessories. Furthermore, the B5100 offers DivX video playback support and a decent quality 3-megapixel camera with an added LED flash.
Although there are no details regarding either a release date or UK price, the phone appears to be destined for a European release with a price of €499.
