If you're looking to develop a new app for the forthcoming Windows Mobile version 6.5, via Microsoft, then now is your chance because you can now download the Software Development Kit (SDK) directly from Microsoft, here.
The announcement of the availability of the the SDK has come soon after the developers formerly announced that the new version of the operating system was finished and ready to go. With the new SDK, you will be able to both develop new apps as well as test the operating system itself. According to the Intomobile website, the SDK arrives with a new set of APIs (application programming interfaces) which, says Microsoft, "...enable application developers to take advantage of the new Windows Mobile 6.5 touch gesture framework."
Windows Mobile 6.5 will arrive in two flavours. The Standard version will support QVGA displays while Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional will handle: QVGA, WQVGA, VGA and WVGA resolutions.
