Adding to the mounting feature rumours and specification reports, the next generation of the Apple iPhone may arrive onto the market in more than just the one variant, according to the latest reports promoted via the Engadget website. According to the website, the new iPhone will be split into four different memory capacities and, thus, into four different price points. The capacities will, according to observers, include 4Gb, 8Gb, 16Gb and 32Gb.
Apparently, the source for these rumours reports derives from the PCS Type Certification Review Board, which is responsible with certificating GSM phones and has approved the new iPhones with the four capacities.
What is most intriguing are the 8GB and 4GB models and Apple's possible attempt to attack the mid-range and lower mid-range markets with a phone that just about anyone can afford.
Of course, the final details will be revealed in just a few days time when the announcement should be made at the World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) between 8-12 June in San Francisco.
