The LG conveyor belt has been in full speed this week. First we got to marvel at the innovative LG GD900 Crystal and now the manufacturer has launched a further two devices. Both the LG GW520 and GT505 are geared towards the social networker with both handsets providing instant alerts from multiple sites including Facebook and Twitter. Both phones also support push email for a variety of personal email accounts as well as Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync for business accounts.
The LG GW520 sports both a 2.8-inch touch-screen and a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard for dual usability. As well as HSDPA connectivity and a three-megapixel camera, the handset also features LG's LiveSquare functionality, first seen on the LG KS360 that displays your most called friends as animated characters on the homescreen. Simply press these characters and you will dial that person.
The LG GT505 as well as housing all the social network functionalities, also comes preloaded with a 30-day free trial of WisePilot, which provides turn-by-turn navigation with voice instruction and a choice of 2D and 3D mapping guides. In addition, users will also have access to a five-megapixel camera and HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity.
The LG GW520 will be available from June 2009 across most networks, while the LG GT505 will also be available from June but exclusive to Orange.
