Google has been busy of late, planning on increasing the intelligence of smarthphones, releasing a barcode utility and more. Now, it has announced that its new Sync software utility has reached the Beta stage. The utility is aimed at users of Nokia mobile phones - specifically, those owning a Nokia handset that supports Symbian S60, third edition, at the moment. The utility allows Nokia owners to establish 2-way, over the air contact and the synchronisation of the built in calendar, using push technology.According to the developers of the service, "Google Sync for S60 requires Nokia software to be installed on the phone. We also recommend backing up your calendar and contacts before setting up Sync. To find out more about setting up Google Sync on Nokia S60 phones, please visit our help center."
