A new Samsung mobile phone aimed at the mid-price market is slated for a European release this week. According to the Dutch website, All About Phones, the new handset, which is known as the Samsung S5200 (spotted here in April), to further extend the growing 'S' series of phones, will be released in Holland, initially, for a proposed price of €129.99.
The mobile includes a 2.1in TFT screen that packs in 240 x 320 pixels covering 16 million pixels. The handset also includes a built in camera with a reasonably specified 3-megapixels that also adds a smile detection facility and a power LED flash to boot, according to the Unwired website. Other features include Bluetooth for wireless connections of accessories such as a headset plus a built in music player.
The S5200 will be available is a choice of two colours, either black and red or black and beige. There has been no official UK release date mooted as yet.
