Samsung's new touch-screen handset targets Europe

The Samsung B7300 was leaked to the public at the end of March with just a series of bare specifications to accompany the leaked images. More details have been revealed for the Windows Mobile-powered handset, which will be covered by the friendly TouchWiz interface.


Based on Quad-band GSM, GPRS, Edge connectivity, the B7300 features a large 3.2inch TFT LCD touch screen spanning 320 × 400 pixels. The chassis includes a built in 3.2-megapixel camera and, additionally, built-in GPS for location finding, according to the Unwired website, and a FM radio for entertainment purposes. Other features include Bluetooth 2.0 and a USB 2.0 port.


The B7300 measures 107.9 x 51.8 x 12.98 mm and weighs in at 100g. The handset is destined for a European release but there have been no details regarding a possible UK release or a related UK price.
