All the attention has been placed upon the release dates of the Pre, but Palm has declared that it's not a one trick pony as it releases details of another mobile phone to run the much talked about WebOS. The Eos is a touch screen-only handset that will utilize a 2.63in capacitive touchscreen display packed with 320 x 400 pixels, according to the Mobile Crunch website.
The slim new design, measuring just 10.6mm, will be a quad-band design that will handle data swiftly as it will support the HSDPA facility. Other features will include aGPS for location finding, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, EDR, 4GB of internal memory for extra music, videos and images plus a microUSB port and a built in camera of 2-megapixels plus a flash and video recording. The new design will include a 1150 mAh battery and will support up to four hours of 3G talk time.
