News from the east: LG Cookie for CDMA

Touch-screen for the masses indeed. LG's touch-screen on a shoestring, Cookie, is now available on CDMA networks, in Asia at least, where it will surely double and triple the two million units already sold of the thing.

According to Unwired View, the CDMA-friendly Cookie is the LG KX500, with CDMA2000 1x connectivity and all the features found in the original Cookie. This includes a 240x400 touch-screen, accelerometer and a three-megapixel camera.

Available from May in Asia-Pacific for around $276.
