LG Viewty Smart out in May

The well hyped cam-phone LG Viewty II finally has a name - Smart, for its ‘intelligent shot mode' which helps even the shakiest limbed fool take a decent picture.

Along with its 8-megapixel camera with LED flash and light sensitivity up to ISO1600, the Smart also comes with a range of, uh, smart camera applications to auto-adjust all the settings you can't be bothered to learn about. You'll also be able to record video in a DVD-quality D1 format, which means the Viewty Smart may even give the high-def video phone Samsung Omnia HD a run for its money.

Viewty Smart runs on LG's stylish new 3-D S-Class interface, first seen on the rather awesome multimedia phone Arena, and is enabled with 7.2Mbps HSDPA, Wi-Fi and A-GPS, with 1.5GB internal memory and a microSD slot.

Available on Orange in May.
