Google's Android platform looks set to receive a few tweaks to enhance the user experience. According to Pocket-lint, the Android 1.5 SDK version (codename "Cupcake") will introduce features including speech recognition, home screen widgets, "live" folders and virtual keyboards each time an edit box is activated.
What's more, rumour has it that we won't have to wait too long for this version to become available, with the end of April touted as the release date. It is however, yet to be confirmed whether the Android 1.5 SDK version will be available as an update for the T-Mobile G1 or whether it will come pre-embedded on the soon to be released HTC Magic. The HTC Magic will be exclusive to Vodafone and is due to be available from 1 May for free on £25 a month contracts. Click here to see our video of the HTC Magic in action.
