Samsung mid-range mobile phone spotted

A new mobile phone from Samsung, that adds to the growing ‘S' series handset range, has been spotted at the recent Televisie show at Nieuwegein in Holland.

To be known as the S5200, the new mobile, seen in a fetching black livery with red accents, is reported to be related to the S8300 Ultra Touch, according to the GSMHelpdesk website.

To be positioned as a mid-range handset, the S5200 is reported to feature a built in camera with a reasonable specification of 3-megapixels but not, say observers, a touchscreen. Entertainment is to be supplied via a MP3 player.

Reports say that the phone will also include expandable memory although no figures have been broached. Other feature details have yet to be revealed.

No announcements have been made regarding a possible UK release date. In addition, no news was available on any price details
