After the release of the official specifications for the new version of the LG Viewty, the Viewty II, back in March, the company has confirmed that it will be launching its 8-megapixel phone during June.
In addition, the UK operator, Orange, has also confirmed that it will be supplying the new handset as part of a menu of contract deals, according to the Electric Pig website. The Orange-bound handset will also be joined by another high profile LG mobile phone - the Arena (the Arena has already been confirmed as forming a part of the T-Mobile stable but in an exclusive livery)
The LG Viewty II, which will also be known as the LG GC900, features a 3 inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen and LG's latest 3D S-Class UI. Other features include HSDPA for fast data transfers, WiFi for wireless connections to the Internet, A-GPS for location finding and Bluetooth. There will also be room for 32GB of internal storage.
