Samsung Valencia - makes another appearance at CTIA 2009

Last seen skulking on the Microsoft stand at the MWC show in Barcelona, the Samsung Valencia, that apparent black sheep of the Samung mobile stable, once again made an appearance in public and once again at the Microsoft stand. The handset, which is also referred to as the 6625 by contacts in Samsung, has undergone a significant change since it appeared at the MWC show. The Valenicia now appears to feature a modified interface that is very similar to Samsung's own Touchwiz touchscreen system. This is an intriguing addition, mainly because the Valencia is not a touchscreen phone, according to the Unwired website.

The specifications of the Valencia reportedly include a 393Mhz CPU that runs 3G for fast data transfer, GPS for location finding, 128MB ROM and 2GB of RAM, a QVGA screen and the inclusion of Windows Mobile 6.1.
