Orange needs to send some of their awesome new mobile phone ideas over to the UK, and soon.
Another cool, why-hasn't-someone-done-it-yet feature they're introducing is live TV on the iPhone, exclusive to the operator's France arm. The service works on a modified version of Orange's TV Player application, and users will get more than 60 channels to wath on the move.
Not only does it stream over 3G connection - the first TV app to do so - for fast-loading, high-quality viewing, Orange have really taken advantage of the iPhone's intuitive multi-touch capabilities to do things like switch channels and check the TV guide. Check out a few live shots of the interface over on the right.
The service launches in France in 2010.
