We covered the early news of the Motorola QA4 mobile phone at the end of February but now Motorola has made an official announcement of the forthcoming release of the new handset. Given the formal name of the Evoke QA4, this slider touchscreen will arrive with a 2.8in screen offering WQVGA resolution. Along with the quad-band CDMA connectivity (plus EVDO Rev A), the phone will offer 256MB of internal RAM but will also be supplied with a microSD card that will enable you to expand the internal memory to store more music, images and video.
A built in camera is also to be supplied, according to the Engadget website. It will only reach a low range 2-megapixel specification, however. Other features to be included will be sGPS for location finding and stereo Bluetooth for wireless accessories.
There are currently no announcements for the release of the phone into the UK or any UK price details
