Finding your way around is pretty boring isn't it? Don't you wish your map came packaged with song, or at least songwriters?
Of course you do, thinks Sony Ericsson, and henceforth sprung The Inside Tracks, voice-instruction city guides with custom maps of London and ‘audio packages' from three British singer-songwriters.
The point is really to throw some spotlight over to the launch of Sony E's W715 Walkman phone, a version of the W705 but exclusively on Vodafone, who also get to show off their ‘Find and Go' GPS service in the W715.
Find and Go navigates you round the city with 3D maps and voice instructions (it can also help drivers avoid speed cameras), and in the W715 has the added feature that you'll also get to seek out the favourite spots of the British singer-songwriters narrating the guides. Vodafone customers can also download the maps to their phones for free.
Looks like Sony Ericsson wants a bite of the sat-nav pie hitherto in Nokia's stranglehold?
