LG has announced a new mobile phone to the market which will address the budget arena. To be known as the LG GM200, the new handset is encased within a candy bar chassis. The third release in the GM range, the new phone will appeal to all music fans because it will include Dolby Mobile technology, stereo speakers and music and video players.
Other entertainment features will also include a built in FM radio. To alleviate the problem of background noise when using these facilities, the GM200 will also automatically adjust the volume depending on the surrounding noise level, according to the Unwired website.
Other feature will include a two inch, TFT, display that will pack in 177 x 220 pixels and will feature 262k colours. Bluetooth 2.1 plus A2DP and a two-megapixel camera will also be included.
A May, European release is mooted at €110.
