The Twitter utility available for all Blackberry users, TwitterBerry, has received a new update taking it up to version 0.9a, up from version 0.8. It has to be said, however, that the new update is still in a beta state, so there may be one or two issues still to be resolved before the final release.
Improvements to the utility include improved TwitPic support. You now need to look in the the 'Send to TwitterBerry' menu in the Media area when viewing images. When uploading TwitPics, data is sent directly over TCP connections, according to the Crackberry website.
Other enhancements includes WiFi support for all connections, a TwitPic progress bar to show the progress of the upload plus full tweets on the list screen. Further improvements include an enhanced network connectivity plus support for WAP 2.0. You can also hyperlink "@username" in tweets to visit their timeline.
