Samsung is due to announce the release of a new mobile phone in its 'C' range, to accompany the recently announced C5212. To be known as the C3310, the handset, which is based upon a slider chassis, will be targeted at the budget market. In fact, the phone will be priced at €110 when it eventually receives its full European distribution - the final release date into Europe has yet to be announced, however, according to the Unwired story.
Features for the new handset include Quad band GSM connectivity (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) with EDGE. Based upon a display packing in 176 x 200 pixels, the screen will show 262k colours. Measuring 99.9 x 48.5 x 13.8 mm and weighing in at 93 grams, the phone will include Bluetooth for short-range, wireless connection to accessories such as a headset. Entertainment will be supplied via a MP3 player and a FM radio.
