Philips Xenium X810 mobile phone spotted

No sooner has Philips announced the forthcoming release of the new X700 mobile phone, which is slated for a European release, then news has also been reported of another new handset - the X810. This new release is slated to feature a touch-screen of TFT quality, a first for Philips, that is reported to pack in 240x400 pixels, according to the Phones Review website. In addition, it has been suggested that the navigation pad will be touch-sensitive.

Measuring 104x52x14.4mm and weighing in at 100mgrams, the new, quad-band, GSM EDGE X810 will apparently include a built-in camera. The specification is reported to be a reasonable 3.2 megapixels and a flash. Entertainment will be supported via a media player. The internal memory is a meagre 45MB but there will be opportunities to expand the memory via a microSDHC slot.
