The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is selling faster than the manufacturer can produce them due to an unexpected high demand according to a source at Phones 4u. The handset's popularity is despite the phone receiving mixed reviews. Perhaps one reason for its popularity is its availability at a low cost line rental with T-Mobile for example, who is offering the device free at just £15 a month on an 18 month contract.
The phone is expected to soon be available with Nokia's Comes With Music, unlimited music downloads for a year, and is the manufacturer's first ever touch-screen. As well as being part of Nokia's XpressMusic range (this includes the much sought after 3.5mm headset port), the handset also features a 3.2-megapixel camera complete with Carl Zeiss lens, auto-focus and flash, A-GPS for navigation, Wi-Fi, TV out and direct access to BBC iPlayer.
