It's the type of thing adolescent boys and secret agents (we're guessing) dream of, but a watch that doubles up as a mobile phone is now very much a reality. LG and Hyundai recently announced their 007 like devices and now according to Pocket-lint, IWOOT are following suit with their "sWap" mobile phone watch. Users will be able to make and receive calls via the phone that can also be paired to a Bluetooth headset, but there's far more to the sWap than just a means of communicating. Not only does it tell the time (well it is a watch after all), you can also store and play your music in a variety of formats including MP3, MIDI, WAV, AAC and MP4 files. There's also a cleverly hidden 1.3-megapixel camera that can record video as well as snapping pics, while SMS and MMS messages are displayed on the 1.5-inch TFT screen.
With 512MB of onboard memory, a microSD card slot means you can boost the memory by up to 2GB, while the IWOOT sWap boasts a talktime of up to 180 minutes and a standby life of 100 hours. The sWap is available for £249 whereas the LG GD910 will cost a cool £1,000 and the Hyundai Mobile MB-910 £200.
