Drop the Samsung Xplorer B2100 in up to one meter of water for 30 minutes and you'll still be able to make and receive calls, according to the manufacturer. We assume this would also work in say a pint of beer or down the toilet? Following in the footsteps of the Samsung M110 and B2700, the Xplorer has upped the stakes with a phone that is not only the aforementioned waterproof, but also resistant to blowing rain, dust, salt fog and extreme hot and cold temperatures.
Encased in anti-shock urethane material, the Xplorer is also the slimmest toughphone to date, packs a built in flash light and is available in a range of different colours. Samsung has been battling hard with toughphone specialists Sonim in seeing who can produce handsets that can withstand the most extreme conditions and the Korean giants will be hoping that their latest creation will claw back Sonim who last month introduced the incredibly robust Sonim Enduro XP3.
