Nokia 5330 XpressMusic mashes tunes and social networking

Nokia's just had a virtual music phone launch at their events page, and one of the handsets they announced is the 5330 XpressMusic.

It's a music phone that comes with plenty of social networking specs with access to sites such as Facebook, Myspace and Nokia's own network platform Ovi. The music control keys are touch-sensitive.

As you'd expect with a super functional Nokia device, this is a music phone that indeed comes with a 3.5mm audio jack, plus a microUSB port. It's compatible with Comes With Music (Nokia's music subscription service), with a bundled 2GB microSD card for around 3,000 songs. Battery life lasts for around 24 hours of music playback.

The slider also has a 3.2-megapixel camera, is A-GPS enabled and comes with the excellent Nokia Maps.

Ships in summer for around 160 euros, UK price to be confirmed.
