Windows Mobile 6.5 hasn't even arrived, yet the Microsoft bigwigs are already talking about Windows Mobile 7.
According to WMPoweruser.com, we can expect the new operating system to arrive in 2010, with Windows Mobile to become more integrated with Windows as a whole. Indeed Mobile Choice understands that Microsoft plans to drop the word ‘Mobile' completely as a means of unifying the brand.
Microsoft will also be hoping that both Windows 7 and Windows Mobile 6.5 before it will helper bolster sales, with them currently lying behind both Symbian and RIM in terms of the market share.
Windows Mobile 6.5 is expected to start being included in selected handsets from Q3 2009, and promises a better user experience, Internet Explorer Mobile 6 and a new application store akin to the already existing Apple and Android markets.
