According to the Phones Review website, Frank Nuovo, the chief designer of Vertu, said, "The collection was inspired by the simplification of form. These stylish phones are convincing due to their simplicity and are characterized by the innovative use of ceramics. You are pure." " A statement that, we suppose from that last comment, was given from the Lotus position.
Don't expect bright pink and sparkly purple, however. The ‘colours‘ are a little subdued and are all preceeded by the word ‘Pure' - the Vertu marketing department must have stayed up all night... The rather daring Pure White and Pure Black liveries are also joined by the equally revolutionary Pure Silver which is presented in polished stainless steel - each in a limited edition of 2500 pieces.
Pure Chocolate, which is the range's closest candidate to a party in a phone, is bedecked with 18 karat yellow gold. All phones arrive in leather cases. The white and black versions will be generally released on March 1st with the silver and chocolate versions appearing in September.
Price will be 6,800 euros. A UK price has yet to be announced.
