Popular navigation software CoPilot Live will soon be available on even more devices. The HTC Touch Cruise will now come pre-installed with it, enabling users to not only plan routes, but also to have access to live local searches as well as up to date weather information via the phone's internet connection.
With 3D or 2D turn-by-turn navigation and voice guidance, CoPilot can be used by pedestrians or drivers ensuing that they don't have to keep glancing at the screen. In addition, CoPilot Live will work in conjunction with HTC FootPrints, which allows users to store digital postcards complete with GPS points, meaning they can retrace their steps or refer back to where a particular snap was taken.
ALK has also announced that CoPilot Live will be available on both the Toshiba TG01, and as a downloadable application on the T-Mobile's Google Android phone, the G1, though when this will be available is yet to be confirmed.
