While we've reviewed some waterproof handsets of late (e.g. the Sonim XP3 Enduro), the majority will ultimately suffer a quick death should you be unfortunate enough to drop it in water. That was until now. OverBoard's latest mobile phone case will now protect your phone in depths of up to six meters, while the manufacturer also promises protection from sand, dust and dirt.
However, what's particularly cool about this product is that it actually floats, meaning your phone will bob along the waters surface until you rescue it. Despite providing this ultimate protection, the handset remains fully usable, while a LENZFLEX back window means you will be able to take your snaps even when it's enclosed in the case. Useful for catching those elusive underwater shots we presume. It also comes boxed with a lanyard, so you can hang the case around your neck.
The case is available both in black and aqua blue and comes in two different sizes, which OverBoard assures will cater for all mobile phones. Both sizes are available now for £12.74 from http://www.over-board.com/.
