A new dictaphone created for Symbian based mobile phones has been released by ALON. In addition to that significant facility, the software also includes a phone recorder, a music player and an Internet radio. The dictaphone is a important facility because all Symbian phones normally only allow you to record for a minute. This restriction is employed to prevent your phone memory filling up in case of accident.
Improvements and additions, according to the All About Symbian website, to the discataphone facility include an improved phone call recording engine, an auto archive of recorded phone calls and a wider array of sampling rates, the ability to record phone calls without phone beeps and an append option for record files.
Available for download for $29.95 by UK customers, version 2.89 of the software supports the MP3, WMA, OGG, AAC / MP4 / M4A, AMR and WAV file formats during music replay.
