LG has announced the forthcoming launch of a new mobile phone. The KS-500 is based on a slider configuration and will include a 2in TFT LCD screen. The new handset will also be able to shift data around pretty quickly as it features 3.5G capability.
Observers also say that the new design includes a built in camera. However, the specification for the new feature is not especially high at a still reasonable 3MP. However, in addition to the standard camera, the phone also includes another, front facing, unit rated at just 0.3MP for video calls.
Those looking for location based facilities will be happy to learn of the GPS and a-GPS features that are included. Storage starts at a pretty basic 30Mb, according to the Mobile Whack website, but that can be upgraded to 8Gb via the included microSDHC card slot. A UK price and release date has yet to be announced.
