Nokia launches personalised Ovi Store

The big business is in applications and social networking, and Nokia has merged the two with the launch of ‘Ovi Store'.

Ovi Store is an app marketplace that will target consumers with tailored content based on who they know and where they are.

The store is already open to content from developers and will be open to consumers in May.

Consumers will be able to choose to pay for content with a credit card or through ‘operator billing'. By providing a choice of payment options for consumers, content providers and developers will gain access to consumers in markets where credit cards are not widely available.
