It also features enhanced HTC TouchFlo 3D, HTC's own user interface which is apparently better customised to take advantage of the ever-so-slightly clunky Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional (the phone will also be upgradeable to the new Windows Mobile 6.5 OS, which we were quite impressed by. Fingers crossed for those announcements of WinMo 6.5 smartphones soon). One of these enhancements is larger touch-focus areas on the screen, and adding one-tap access buttons to messaging, email photos, music and weather on the top-level menu.
The Pro2 also has ‘people-centric' communication view, which sorts communication history by contact, whether voice, email or SMS.
Other specs include a 3.6-inch TFT screen with WVGA resolution for hi-def media viewing, a tilt screen, GPS, HSDPA support and slide-out full QWERTY.
Available in early summer.
