Sony Ericsson has announced its first Walkman/Cybershot phone.
The W995 is a media phone that features a Walkman music player with shake control and 3.5mm audio jack, 8.1-megapixel Cybershot camera with flash, and Turbo 3G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity. The phone has the usual barrel of music and camera apps, including PlayNow, Sony E's music download service, YouTube easy access and photo/video blogging features, as well as Media Go, which connects the phone to other entertainment devices for the easy sharing of media files.
The TFT screen is a comfortable 2.6 inches at 240x320 pixels.
W995 is pimped out for location-based services with A-GPS, Google Maps and three-month trial of Wayfinder Navigator software.
It ships with an 8GB M2 Memory Stick, and will be available in Q2
