BlackBerry maker Research In Motion has opened their application marketplace for submissions. The app store will go live in March, putting RIM on equal footing with OS-owning, app-store-running competitors Apple, Google and Palm.
Developers who create a successful application will keep 80% of revenue, compared to only 70% with apps for Apple's iPhone and Google's Android.
Mobile operators are also able to submit their own application catalogues.
