Like the rest of XpressMusic series, the 5730 is firmly in the mid-range price bracket, with mid-range specs to match - 3.2-megapixel camera, 2-inch 16M colour QVGA display, 3G, Bluetooth and USB connectivity. So far, so standard - except for its slide-out QWERTY flat pad which really makes a man out of what's otherwise a fairly youthful, dare we say funky phone.
Russian reviews site Mobile Review are the first ones to have gotten their hands on an official preview model of the phone, which runs on S60 third edition, making it non-touch-enabled, unlike the 5800. Memory-wise, it comes with "up to" 140MB of on-board, with an 8GB memory card included in the price tag.
The Nokia 5730 XpressMusic has an expected launch date of April, retailing for around 220 euros (£204).
