Better known for producing automobiles, Korean giants Hyundai have confirmed that they will be releasing a number of mobile phones this year, including at least one Windows Mobile device. Hyundai Mobile UK claims to be looking at producing between 10 to 15 devices this year, with the focus ranging from ‘Basic', ‘Music', ‘Lifestyle' ‘Innovation' and ‘Business'.
The names of three of the devices along with images were provided by the manufacturer; Hyundai MB-220, MB-500 and MB-400. Hyundai Mobile UK plans to more of their handsets at the Mobile World Congress event in February where Mobile Choice will be reporting live from, so watch this space for more details.
Hyundai is not the first automotive company to enter the mobile phone market, with Porsche having recently unveiled their own phone and Land Rover said to be teaming up with toughphone specialists Sonim.
