LG has unveiled two new mobile phones which sit within a candybar chassis. The GB106 and GB110 are aimed at those looking for practicality and affordability, they are both small and neat designs that will easily fit into a pocket. Both of the new LG mobile phones include colour displays and FM radios for entertainment.
More specifically, the LG GB106, which would be ideal as a back-up mobile, features just 1Mb of memory along with a 950 mAh Li-Ion battery capable of giving it up to 400 hours of standby time and 4 hours of talk time on a charge – according to the Unwired website.
The LG GB110 is very similar in design but this particular model does provide a touch more user memory – 2Mb – but also the option to expand that memory via the inclusion of a microSD card slot. It's currently unknown what the maximum capacity is of this memory slot. Release details have yet to be announced.
