Apple iPhone - new browsers available

Four new Internet web browsers have been released for the Apple iPhone. All of the browsers have been developed using the Safari developer kit and are not iterations of Safari itself. They can be download via the App utility.

The Edge is free to download. It takes the minimalist approach to displaying web information, removing much of the standard furniture that you would normally see in Safari.

Incognito costs $1.99 and, as the name says, this browser is ideal for those who want to surf without being seen - or traced. The browser leaves no indication that you've visited a website or have even been online.

Shaking Web also costs $1.99 and plugs itself into the iPhone's accelerometer and responds to your hand movements to get around the browser. One for the more extrovert amongst you.

Finally, WebMate costs just 99 cents and is useful for those who wish to collect websites and then read them later.
