DroidBerry released for Blackberry Bold

A new theme has been released for the Blackberry Bold mobile phone. The theme adopts the look of the Android G1 handset. Created by Jason Calhoun, the new theme features five homescreen icons, says the Crackberry website. All of the included icons can be customised by the user. In fact the icons representing the battery, notification and signal utilities are exact copies from the original Android interface screen.

The only fly in the ointment relates to the clock which can also be seen on the interface screen. Apparently, because the Blackberry refuses to handle widgets as part of its interface, the clock will not work. Looks nice, though.

For those who are unsure what a Blackberry theme actually is - themes let you to change the look and feel of a BlackBerry to suit your own personal style. Installing a new BlackBerry theme changes the look of your home page and icons.
