Mobinnova ICE viewed at CES 2009

Mobinnova has exhibited its ICE mobile phone at the CES 2009 show in the USA. Due for release into Europe soon, the company was also recently in the news as it was being touted as the new partner for Sony Ericsson for new developments in its Xperia range of mobile phones.

The ICE is a striking handset. Showing as nothing more than a black slab when switched off, the surface is totally touch sensitive with no external buttons. When touched into life, the phone exhibits a 3in, 240 x 240 pixel screen featuring Haptic response plus a virtual cursor pad and a row of action buttons serving as the interface, according to the Gearlog website.

Other features include 3G for fast data transfer, GPS for location finding, WiFi for Internet connections, Bluetooth for wireless attachments to accessories, a 3MP camera, TV out and a FM radio.
