The new HTC Lolite mobile phone has made an unscheduled appearance on the Expansys website - before HTC was prepared to make an official announcement.
The HTC phone features a Qualcomm MSM7225 528 MHz processor. As a smartphone, it is no surprise that the handset runs on the top of the popular Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operating system. A quad-band GSM / GPRS / EDGE 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 mobile, the phone pushes data through a speedy 3G connection along with HSDPA / HSUPA for Europe / Asia at 900/2100 MHz, according to the Cell Passion website.
Additional features for the new phone include a 2.8in TFT screen including QWVGA resolution with a touch sensitive display pushing HTC's own TouchFLO, 3D interface. Other features include GPS and aGPS for location finding, WiFi and a 3.2MP camera. The new phone measures 102 x 53.5 x 14.5mm with a weight of 103 grams.
