Sony Ericsson's latest Cyber-shot phone promises a high quality camera experience for an affordable price. The C510 sports a 3.2-megapixel camera, but is also the first Sony Ericsson phone to feature Smile Shutter technology (something that it must be said LG introduced last year), detecting a persons smile before automatically taking that photo. However, that's not the only trick up the C510's sleeve. Other features include Face Detection, Auto-rotation that allows images to be viewed in portrait or landscape, Snapfish by HP that enables users to send print orders direct from their handset and a YouTube application that means video can be uploaded direct from the phone. Users will also be able to track their text history providing a conversation type feel.
Owners of Sony Ericsson's high-end handset the C905 will also be pleased to hear that from mid-February they will be able to download an upgrade to their phone giving them access to all these features as well, along with WayFinder 8.
The Sony Ericsson C510 will be available in the coming months in both black and silver, while a new rose coloured C905 phone will also be made available.
