T-Mobile customers, who are struggling to get to grips with their G1 handset, can now seek assistance at a purpose built T-Mobile YouTube channel. Users can ask and answer G1 related questions via continually updated short video clips, blogs, tips and tricks. As well as other G1 users posting their advice, T-Mobile staff will also be monitoring and updating customer support. T-Mobile's YouTube G1 Channel is the first customer service channel provided by the operator, but looks set to be the first in many.
The T-Mobile G1, also known as the Google Android phone, is the first phone to provide access to the Android Market, a completely open platform that offers hundreds of free applications, ranging from how to make cocktails, to where the cheapest place to buy a product is. The handset itself sports both a fully functional touch-screen and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
