A new mobile phone has been released by the luxury phone manufacturer, Gresso. Known as the Avantgarde Skeleton, the handset is strictly limited. In fact, only 15 examples of the new phone are available. The design itself has been inspired by the famous Swiss skeleton watches of yore which allow the user to view the movement of the watch itself.
Similarly, the back panel of the new Gresso mobile is presented in hand polished 42 karat sapphire crystal. The case, however is presented is a special titanium alloy which was previously utilised within the space industry.
One of the highlights of the new phone is its inclusion of a new, scratch proof, ceramic covering which is also used within the space industry. Specifically, it is often fitted to the temperature protection area of spacecraft. It is so tough, in fact, that only diamond can beat it. Other featured elements on the phone include gold, steel and leather. The price is $5,000 but it is also available to UK buyers.
